Color Your Canvas Kids Class

Enjoy a fun morning painting a Sunny Daffodil at Arts on Main! In this class, the young artist will be provided a pre-sketched canvas and acrylic paints. They will be instructed by Christina and encouraged to get creative! Consider wearing play clothes, as we try to stay tidy, but accidents can happen.
For children ages 4-12 (children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
“I believe art is for everyone. It can bring people together, and has the ability to put the artist in touch with themselves. When we learn to let go of perfection, painting can be both healing and very meditative. I began drawing and creating from a young age, and enjoy sharing the joy of creating with others. I’m excited to resume art instruction, focusing on making creative expression accessible and enjoyable for young artists. Building on my experience leading "Color Your Canvas Kidz" at Arts On Main from 2014-2021, and many various community workshops for adults, I'm prepared to help inspire participants of my classes. My approach prioritizes fun, exploration and self expression. Each class has a concept painting, and I empower students to create from their heart. I look forward to sharing a fun, creative, relaxed space with the young artists in our community!”
