ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Kim Hall is a nationally recognized contemporary impressionist painter, working mostly in oils and gouache. She currently lives in Richmond Virginia and maintains studios in both Richmond and Montross. Her work is a joyful reaction to those everyday scenes such as the light coming through the window or any path she comes across. Her intent is for the work to be as much about the paint as it is the subject and for the viewer to enjoy their own interpretation. Kim has been selected for many national and international plein air competitions and shows. She has a BA in Fine Art from George Mason University and continued studies from The Corcoran School of Art.
