Colored Pencils Workshop
Instructor: Nancy Jacey, UKCPS, UKCPSO, CPSA
Saturday, June 27th
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Students will learn colored pencil techniques, along with color theory and creating successful compositions. Instructor will provide illustration boards with pre gridded and sketched subject matter, along with reference image. This will be a step by step 2 hour class. All skill levels welcome, but geared more towards beginner and intermediate levels.
Students need to bring their own set of Prismacolor Premier pencils (24-48 set) and small hand held sharpener. Instructor will provide all illustration boards with pre sketched image, reference photo, duster brushers, fixative, erasers, additional sharpers, painters tape and examples of original artwork completed in colored pencil. *** PLEASE DO NOT BRING KNOCK OFF BRANDS OF COLORED PENCILS. WE ARE SPECIFICALLY USING PRISMACOLOR. Bringing in cheaper brands will not result in the same higher quality of work.
