“Taking Tea and Taxes”
Trace the evolution of tea from a Royal social hour in Britain to a Revolutionary spark in Colonial America by examining objects and material culture, including silver and ceramics from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Collection. Celeste Fetta received her BA in art history with a minor in anthropology from the College of William and Mary and holds an MA in decorative art history from the University of Glasgow. She is currently Chief Educator at VMFA.
