The 45+ artists in this show use fiber, metal, oil, watercolor, pastel, wood, and more to create stunning and unique art. The pieces range from the whimsical and humorous to the thought-provoking and insightful. You don’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind show!
This exhibition will run from October 3rd to October 27th. Three winning artists will be awarded a cash prize at the First Friday opening reception on Friday, October 3rd from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Arts on Main. Juror and Judge Trent Nicholas will discuss his jurying process and announce the winning artists around 6:30 PM. Light bites will be served and beer + wine will be available for purchase. Nathan Stephenson will be performing live music.

MEET YOUR JUROR & JUDGE
Trent Nicholas received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1974 and an MA in Cinema Studies from New York University in 1986. He is currently the Statewide Media Programs Coordinator at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and teaches film history for the VCU Art History Department as Adjunct Faculty.
Live music will be performed by Nathan Stephenson at the opening reception!
